Citizen Hope Presents…Party for a Century…NAACP 100 Year Anniversary Celebration

NAACP, one of the nation’s oldest and most prominent civil rights organizations, is celebrating it’s 100th anniversary this month. Citizen Hope is a new group that empowers people to bring about change through social networking, community service, and political activism.
Together, these organizations are coming together to celebrate the “Party for the Century.” We’ll be celebrating the victories of the last 100 years, with a recognition that the struggle must continue.
Proceeds from the event will go to the NAACP Youth and College Division, which organizes young people for community service, voter registration, and political activism.
Highly acclaimed Bay Area Hip Hop artist ZION-I will be our special guest for the event, performing music from their brand new album, “The Take Over.” http://zionicrew.com.
We will also be joined by honored guests, civil rights and elected leaders, including City Attorney DENNIS HERRERA, Equal Justice Society President EVA PATERSON, and San Francisco School Board President KIM-SHREE MAUFAS.
DJs Manny Black, Proof and King Most will be keeping the party moving as well. The event is at Mighty in Potrero, one of the best clubs in San Francisco.
The event will be $10 from 7pm-8:30pm, and $15 after. Proceeds will be donated to the NAACP.
